Behind the scenes of our spring collection

Creating a collection is much more than designing garments. It is about capturing an atmosphere, a season, an emotion. For this spring collection, we wanted to convey a sense of renewal, a feeling of calm and freshness, through soft cuts, clean lines, and natural materials.

Inspiration

It all began with light, the kind that fills Montreal studios at the end of winter. We imagined light silhouettes designed to follow the body’s movement with ease and gentleness.

The selected tones, sage, clay, sand, and glacier blue, reflect the elements and a nature slowly coming back to life.

Materials

We worked with high-quality natural fibres, including European linen, organic cotton, and recycled shell buttons. Each material was chosen for its texture, durability, and reduced environmental impact.

The process

Our designs are created in Montreal, in our small studio. Each prototype passes through the hands of our seamstress, then is tested, adjusted, and refined. This attention to detail is at the heart of our approach, nothing is left to chance.

At MALGVEN, every collection is a love letter to nature, simplicity, and Quebec elegance.
