Shipping policy

  • We currently ship only within Canada.
  • Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Delivery usually takes 5 to 7 business days after dispatch.
  • We use Canada Post and Intelcom for most deliveries.

1. ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days following payment confirmation (excluding weekends and Canadian public holidays).


2. ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

The timeframes below are provided for indicative purposes only and run from the date of shipment (not the date of order). They do not constitute a delivery guarantee.

Estimated delivery timeframe: 5 to 7 business days

Please note that Canada is a vast country, and delivery times may vary depending on the province, remote areas, weather conditions, or carrier delays.

During periods of severe weather or high shipping volume, some orders may experience additional delays. If this occurs, MALGVEN will do its best to keep customers informed regarding the delay and its cause.

MALGVEN cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to carriers, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond its control.


3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

MALGVEN currently ships exclusively within:

Canada (all provinces and territories)

MALGVEN reserves the right to suspend or restrict shipments to certain regions at any time, without notice, particularly in the event of logistical disruptions, severe weather conditions, or regulatory restrictions.


4. SHIPPING FEES

Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the delivery location and the weight of the order.

The exact amount will be displayed before payment confirmation.

Free Shipping

When free shipping is offered as part of a promotion or minimum purchase threshold, it applies only to the initial shipment of the order.

Return shipping costs remain the sole responsibility of the customer, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

MALGVEN reserves the right to modify shipping rates at any time without notice.

MALGVEN works with trusted carriers selected according to the best available delivery option at the time of shipment.

The choice of carrier remains at MALGVEN’s sole discretion.


6. PROMOTIONAL SHIPPING OPERATIONS AND SPLIT SHIPMENTS

During promotional periods, seasonal sales, or high-demand events, MALGVEN may exceptionally ship certain orders from international partner warehouses or external logistics facilities in order to accelerate delivery operations and maintain efficient service for customers.

All orders continue to be managed under MALGVEN’s quality and shipping standards, regardless of the shipping origin used during these operational periods.

In certain cases, if an order contains multiple items, MALGVEN may ship products separately from different storage facilities or logistics networks. This operational method helps:

  • Maintain faster delivery times
  • Avoid unnecessary delays caused by inventory consolidation
  • Optimize shipping efficiency
  • Reduce overall shipping costs for customers whenever possible

As a result, customers may receive multiple tracking numbers and packages delivered on different dates.

Additional shipping charges will not be applied to the customer for split shipments initiated by MALGVEN.

MALGVEN is committed to shipping your orders with care and as promptly as possible. This policy provides all relevant information regarding shipping methods, delivery timeframes, fees, and conditions applicable to your purchases on malgven.ca.

Important: Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, MALGVEN is no longer responsible for delivery timeframes, losses, damages, or any other incident occurring during transit. The carrier assumes full responsibility for the parcel from the moment it is collected.

8. FAILED DELIVERY AND RETURNED PARCELS

In the event of a failed delivery attributable to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer
  • The recipient's absence after multiple delivery attempts
  • Refusal of the parcel by the recipient
  • Failure to collect the parcel within the timeframe established by the carrier

Any re-shipping fees will be entirely the customer’s responsibility.

If a parcel is returned to MALGVEN and the customer wishes to receive it again, the new shipping fees must be paid before re-dispatch.

MALGVEN is not responsible for any damage or loss occurring during the return transit of the parcel.


9. LOST OR DAMAGED PARCELS

In the event of a lost or damaged parcel, the customer must:

  1. Contact MALGVEN within 48 hours of delivery at contact@malgven.ca
  2. Provide supporting photographs if the parcel or product has been damaged
  3. Retain the original packaging and shipping documents for any investigation with the carrier

Refunds or replacements related to lost or damaged parcels are granted only after investigation and confirmation, and remain at MALGVEN’s sole discretion.


10. FORCE MAJEURE

MALGVEN shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in shipment resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics
  • Carrier or postal strikes
  • Transport network disruptions
  • Governmental measures
  • Any other force majeure event

In such situations, MALGVEN will inform customers as soon as reasonably possible and will attempt to find an appropriate solution.

MALGVEN cannot be held responsible for processing delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete order information provided by the customer
  • Payment validation issues attributable to payment providers (Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal)
  • Force majeure events (see Section 10)
