Caring for your linen garments

Caring for your linen garments

By the MALGVEN team, Montreal, QC

Linen is a natural, refined, and durable fabric, but it deserves proper care to maintain its beauty over time. Here are our recommendations for caring for your MALGVEN pieces and keeping them beautiful season after season.

Washing

Wash your linen garments in cold or lukewarm water, no more than 30°C, preferably by hand or on a gentle machine cycle. Use a small amount of mild detergent without bleaching agents. Avoid overloading the machine so the fabric can move freely and breathe.

Drying

Air dry on a hanger or laid flat. Linen dries naturally and quickly. Avoid the dryer, as it can damage the fibres and cause shrinkage.

Ironing

If you prefer a smoother look, iron while the garment is still slightly damp, using a medium temperature. Linen responds well to steam, and a garment steamer is ideal for refreshing your pieces quickly.

A MALGVEN tip

Linen evolves and softens over time. Its natural irregularities are part of its charm. Embrace the wrinkles as part of its effortless elegance, they tell a story.

MALGVEN is also an invitation to slow down and consume more consciously. Give your garments the care they deserve, and they will return it to you, season after season.
